The alliance of Kopetz Mfg. and Chicago Power & Process LNG, Inc. (CPP) has resulted in a unique and effective partnership. CPP is an Engineering Consulting Firm, based in Arlington Heights, IL, specializing in Thermal Design of Shell & Tube LNG Vaporizers (STV) and Heat Exchangers. CPP’s proprietary design in conjunction with Kopetz’s manufacturing expertise has resulted in the fabrication of over 200 STV Vaporizers.
Adhering to the standards mandated by teh American Society of Manufacturing Engineers (ASME) and the Tubular Exchanger Manufacturers Association (TEMA), our Steel & Tube Vaporizers (STV) have been in operation for nearly four decades with no field operational failures. Kopetz has also commenced and is in the process of refining a revolutionary STV design which will greatly minimize the effects of pressurized seawater while maintaining the same high level of operational efficiency.
